How It Works
Weather
Maui’s weather can be fickle sometimes and in the event of rain, Blake is happy to reschedule. Keep in mind, Blake has captured some amazing portraits after a brief shower along with a stunning rainbow.
Locations
DT Flemming is Blake’s favorite location along with Kapalua Bay. (No permit to shoot Kaanapali Beaches.)
Please contact Blake if you have a favorite West side beach or location you would like to shoot at. Confirmation for location will be sent via text 24 hrs prior to the photo session.
What to Wear?
Want to match? Awesome.
Don’t want to match? Awesome.
Here’s a little guidance. Pastels are good–neutrals, and earth tones along with white. Leave the neon in the 80’s. If you go with a floral print, choose everyone else’s outfit based on a color in the print.

Day of the Session
Blake likes to do a little bit of everything from jumping, posing, walking, hanging in a tree, to jumping on dad’s back. If you have certain poses you want, please feel free to tell him.
At the end of the shoot, Blake usually lets the kids do what they want and he typically ends up rolling around in the sand with them or soaking wet from getting in the ocean. Blake lets the kids go nuts and that’s when he captures the best candid moments.
Post Session
YOUR IMAGE GALLERY WILL BE DELIVERED VIA EMAIL IN APPROXIMATELY 24 HOURS.
